Sorry that I haven't been spending really any time here--not like it's going to ruin anyone's day, but I'm still having major browsing issues with the "new" DA that make it next to impossible to try and look through the devs on my watch list, so it's not so much fun to be here. My list was up to over 500 devs, and in 2 hours I managed to knock a couple hundred off, but the constant reloading and being bumped back to the first page is enough to give me fits, so I'm calling it quits for now. Once I DO finally get my queue down to something manageable, I plan on going back and commenting on my new favorites.

The other reason I haven't been here is my grandmother's continuing health issues. The woman has been through nine kinds of Hel in the last 3 months, and every time we think she's stable, there's another problem that pops up. She's been in a total of 16 rooms throughout 7 hospitals and rehabilitation facilities in the last 82 days. ICUs, ERs, telemetry units, neurology, stroke/cardiac rehabs (3 seperate and counting) and back again--and she gets transferred again on Tues for yet another cardiac cath. Ugh. I won't go into details--it'd take up a few pages.

Mom can't drive long distances, so I've had to be the ferry and the rock for her--these facilities are 3 (for the first 2 months) or 1.5 hours (last month) away, so that's pretty much been taking up all my time. Hope all is well with y'all--take care.

Just had one, actually... I loves me a good bonfire--on the menu last night, roasted tumbleweeds. I hate the little buggers, and ended up w/ a bumper crop this year. They are incredibly pokey and evil, and break off at the slightest touch, making it a righteous PITA to walk about in sandals. SO, good fire, good purpose.
